GREENSBORO, N.C. April 25th, 2023 – Black Owners of Solar Services (B.O.S.S.) outlined its plan to increase the number of minority-owned businesses in North Carolina’s energy sector during the April 25 kickoff for the Equitable Clean Energy Advancement Initiative, we hosted over 60 minority business owners, elected officials and partner organizations held on the campus of North Carolina Agricultural. B.O.S.S. guests then took a tour of the Beloved Community Center to discuss infrastructure issues that minority communities face when considering solar energy.
